When you stay at Steamboat
Digs, you get a great place in a great location at fantastic rates. You'll
get everything you need for a marvelous stay in Colorado's mountains without
paying the overhead at hotels or condo complexes. Save your dough for the
bars, the mountain, the shops...
I
regularly check the competition to make sure I offer lower rates, lower
ski season nightly minimums, and more valuable amenities than
other condos our size on the hill. When comparing, check actual location,

Steamboat Digs accepts Visa®, MasterCard®, Discover®, good checks,
real cash, and gold bullion. Checks must be received and cleared by my bank
before your booking is official. Gold bullion must be delivered in person
with a six-pack as a handling fee.
Please
contact me to hold your dates. Dates "held" are not officially
confirmed
until (1) I have received payment (credit card charge approved, check
cleared, or gold bullion stacked at my feet) AND (2) I have received
the signed agreement back from you. Agreement will arrive by email and
you may return it via fax or email.
- All reservations are non-refundable for "Holiday Season":
mid-December till early January.
- If you cancel 60 days or fewer before check-in, you will forfeit your
deposit.
- If you cancel 30 days or fewer before check-in, you will forfeit full
rental fee and tax.
- The first day of the rental, there will be no refunds for any reason.
- No credit will be given for shortened stays due to late arrival or
early departure for any reason.
- No cancellations due to weather.
- Travel Insurance: I do not provide travel insurance, but there
are companies that offer coverage in case you must cancel. They may
pay part or all of your vacation costs (e.g., our cancellation costs,
airline change fees, etc.). Options vary, but insurance is probably
much cheaper than you realize; try insuremytrip.com.
By renting Steamboat Digs, you are responsible for any associated costs
whether your insurance pays or not.
Guests are required to sign and return a rental agreement prior to arrival:
Sample Agreement (pdf). Each agreement
includes details of your stay plus rules and regulations for the condo and
the condo association. Key points:
- Maximum overnight occupancy: 8 people (includes children). This is a
strict rule of the Building Owner's Association.
- NEW! Pets allowed! Guests
may bring one well-behaved pet per visit. See fees
and rules here. Pet allergies? Please mention when
calling or emailing: Steamboat Digs is professionally cleaned after
every stay.
- No smoking in the condo.
- Security Deposit: I require payment of a deposit before your
stay. Payment can be held on your credit card or paid by check in advance.
If you trash the place, I may come after you for more.
- Minimum Stay: You may request dates with fewer nights than
specified above; if approved, such requests require the full $150 cleaning
fee and will likely carry a higher nightly rate. Please contact me for
details.
- No Storage Before/After Stay: There is no office or storage
on-site: if arriving in town before check-in (or staying in town a while
after check-out), please contact me for options for your luggage.
